Dan Huntley, APRN decided to open TIDE Wellness to provide people with tools to manage their weight, feel better, and promote primary prevention of chronic illness. After completing his degree from Bridgeport Hospital, Dan started his career as a Medical Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac Care Unit Registered Nurse, seeing firsthand the impact of prolonged chronic illness. When he earned his bachelor degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, he worked as a procedural nurse in Interventional Radiology. Dan went on to earn his MSN in Adult & Gerontology from Western CT State University and is currently an APRN practicing Internal Medicine with patients suffering from a variety of health conditions.
